The ECOLEC Foundation was created in order to protect the environment and promote sustainable development.

Its aim is to efficiently manage the collection, treatment, evaluation and elimination of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in general, as well as to publicize its findings through studies, research, documentation, etc. and to promote a culture of sustainable development.  

The Foundation mainly operates in Spain.
